Germany is European returns champion

In no other European country do more parcels go back to the sender than in Germany. According to the statistics service Statista.de, 315 million parcels were returned in 2020 alone. This means that returns alone generated more than 157 thousand tons of CO2. In addition, returns cost retailers a lot of money: from postage and warehouse costs to processing and qualification.
